Chalets to rent in La BresseCome and discover the hidden facets of the town of La Bresse in the heart of the Ballons des Vosges Regional Nature Park! This town is full of breathtaking views from our various quality chalets offered by Clévacances. So let yourself be tempted on your next holiday!
La Bresse has a huge number of lakes, mountain ridges and forests that are bound to wow you with their authenticity. Come and enjoy Lac de Lispach, which is mostly a peat bog, a protected natural area where you can walk around its 12 hectares. If you're a lake-lover, you can also visit Lac des Corbeaux, a 10-hectare glacial lake at an altitude of 887 metres! Accessible by road, it is also a great fishing spot, and you can also go to the Roche du lac for a bird's eye view of the lake and its surroundings. And let's not forget the summit of the Hohneck, at an altitude of over 1,300 metres! Its steep, rocky slopes are easily recognisable, and its lack of vegetation due to the violent winds and low temperatures gives this summit its authenticity. Thanks to its gentle slopes, you'll be able to spot herds of Vosges cows and chamois in summer! It dominates the ridgeline that separates Alsace from Lorraine, with its ski resort below!
For swimming and diving enthusiasts, you can take a dip in Lac des Corbeaux! If you want to get up high and enjoy the view, La Bresse has plenty of places to go hiking while offering you breathtaking views! Head for the Col du Brabant, at an altitude of 878 metres, or the centre of La Bresse for a half-day hike through two communes in the Hautes-Vosges, along paths and balcony trails that offer beautiful panoramic views over the Upper Moselotte Valley! At the foot of the summit of the Hohneck, a resort offers ski slopes surrounded by lakes, mountain ridges and forests. Tree climbing courses are also available at the Bol d'Air adventure park located in La Bresse.
Come and discover vosgiflette, derived from tartiflette, it has no equal and is made with Munster cheese! On the Crêtes Vosgiennes above La Bresse, come and enjoy a real farmhouse inn meal. Also stop off at one of the village bakeries and discover the sweet speciality of Bresse: Le Bressaud, sponge cake and buttercream flavoured with kirsch, topped with a meringue.
