These are Saint-Louis Cathedral and Saint-Sauveur Church, both of which attract large numbers of visitors every year. For a different kind of aquatic experience, visit the Aquarium de La Rochelle. Here you can see barracudas, guitar rays, turtles and various jellyfish, as well as sharks in a dedicated aquarium. The Natural History Museum invites travellers to immerse themselves in science. It houses some remarkable naturalist and ethnographic collections. Your holiday can also be synonymous with sporting activities and walks in the fresh air. You'll have the opportunity to go canoeing on the Canal de Marans.
