The gîte apartment on the ground floor complies with the specifications of the TOURISM & HANDICAP mark. It is OPEN ALL YEAR LONG and is nestled in a green setting, surrounded by fir trees, 1 km 300 from the main road at an altitude of 572 m with a view of the valley (59 m² with terrace). The owner's house is 18 meters away, separated by a lawn and a vegetable garden. The place calls directly for a quiet walk in the forest and at the same time the gîte is close to the Vosges ski resorts "la Mauselaine" in Gérardmer (15 km) and "la Bresse-Hohneck" (25 km). Shops are close to the gite (list available: bakery, supermarkets, pharmacy etc...).  The Cottage has been completely redesigned in 2016/2017 and  renovated in 2023,Has VMC, Italian shower, a room for bikes or skis (locked) is available to customers. There is also a room for selective sorting (recycling: cardboard - glass bottles and various packaging). The spring water is free and drinkable. A private asphalt parking lot is reserved for customers with access for people with reduced mobility. The entrance with corridor leads to the living room and opens onto the terrace. Two bedrooms each equipped with a bed of 140, a combined oven/microwave, a dishwasher, a raclette machine combined with a crepe maker, a washing machine, a television with USB port, a sofa (2 seats) + 2 armchairs + 2 poufs; a terrace (with garden furniture and deported parasol) and a fenced lawn area with stone barbecue. ATTENTION FROM NOVEMBER 1ST 2019 WINTER TIRES ARE STRONGLY ADVISED IN THE MOUNTAINOUS REGIONS OF FRANCE INCLUDING THE VOSGES. The "Mourot road" is salted as soon as the first frosts arrive and is cleared of snow twice a day in case of heavy snowfall. For ideas of outings, winter and summer, documentation is available.
