Lavandière guest room located in a house in the heart of the medieval city of Limoges, with terrace and shady garden. Double room, 160cm bed, with private bathroom (shower, bath, washbasin, cupboards, hairdryer, towel warmer) and private wc located on the 2nd floor. A small corridor, separate from the central staircase, leads to the bedroom, a large private bathroom with shower and bath, and a WC.  Your guest room will immerse you in the history of our city, Limoges, classified as a City of Arts and Fire by UNESCO. The Lavandières room refers to all the women who washed clothes on the banks of the Vienne in Limoges. They owned or rented a large flat stone placed at the bottom of the water (or washerwoman's tub), limiting their work area.
