Philbertins since 2017, we discovered and learned to love the pleasant way of life as well as the attractive charm of this town and its surroundings. The proximity of Lake Grand Lieu, hikes in the vineyards of Sud-Loire Nantais, the Elephant des Machines de l'île 25 minutes away, as well as the Atlantic coast 40 minutes away, make this location an ideal place, between land and sea! While renovating part of our house, the idea of ​​creating a gîte arose. The years have passed and, at the end of 2023, we began this new project! Located in the peaceful village of La Garoterie, near the Boulogne watercourse, 411 is a characterful gîte that will charm you. This building, dating from the 1850s, has been restored while respecting its original appearance as much as possible. We have preserved the volumes as well as the stone, brick, sponge cake and wood elements to preserve the authenticity and history of this central place. We are bringing new life to this building, which has been unoccupied since the 1960s, when the floor was still dirt. The work will be completed in July 2024, opening a new page for this building.
