This Accueil Motard gîte is located in Puycapel-Calvinet, a village in the south-west of Cantal. Its proximity to the Aveyron department and the Lot valley offers great possibilities for excursions.

Renting Gîte Chez Lili is a bit like coming on vacation to visit cousins. The owners are dedicated to providing you with a warm experience and have thought of every detail to ensure you have a memorable stay.


This single-storey gîte for 6 people is open all year round. It is a rental suitable for families with young children.


The spacious main room is arranged around a lounge area and a dining room. The slightly retro decoration gives pride of place to family furniture. On one side, facing the fireplace, is the living room with sofa, small armchairs, coffee table, television and bookcase. On the other side, the dining room with a large table and a buffet.


The independent kitchen is functional and offers a multitude of work surfaces. It is equipped with everything you need, appliances, dishes and utensils to allow you to prepare your meals easily.


The cottage has 3 bedrooms, each with its own decorative style. A first bedroom is furnished with a double bed (140 x 190 cm), Voltaire armchair, wardrobe and antique hosiery. The second bedroom offers a journey back in time with its Louis XV style decoration. It has a bed (140 x 190 cm). The third bedroom has two single beds.


The bathroom is fitted out with a large walk-in shower. The toilets are independent. A laundry room is located in the basement with washing machine and dryer, next to it is a fitness area.


This seasonal rental is suitable for teleworkers and digital nomads. (supplement of €70 per week). It offers a functional and comfortable workspace with desk, office chair, 2 screens, printer etc. and of course an excellent internet connection. Added to this is a hyper-connected games room dedicated to gamers with 4 SmartTVs, consoles, etc.


The Gîte Chez Lili offers a specific welcome to bikers. The garage provides a safe place to park and maintain travelers' motorcycles (workbench, karcher, compressor and other basic equipment).


The house is surrounded by a large garden of 2,000 m2 shaded by fruit trees. You can enjoy various outdoor activities such as a 9-hole mini-golf course, a pétanque court, a ping-pong table... this garden is a leisure paradise, for young and old!


To relax after all these efforts, you can relax in the spa installed in the garden, from June to October.


In front of the house, a covered terrace with garden furniture will allow you to have an aperitif and your meals in the best conditions. And if you come in the summer, all you have to do is bend over to pick tomatoes from the small organic vegetable garden.


At Lili, pets are welcome. An agility course (obstacle course) for dogs is set up in part of the garden.

Holidays in Puycapel-Calvinet, between Lot Valley and Cantalien volcano
Puycapel, 850 inhabitants, was born from the merger between Calvinet and Mourjou, two municipalities 4 km apart. Gîte Chez Lili is located in Calvinet. In the village, you will find shops and services. The Estanquiol pond, at the exit of the village, offers fishing and swimming activities (natural water pools).


In the region, the chestnut tree is king. So much so that it gave its name to the Cantal Chestnut Grove. Do you know the difference between chestnut and chestnut? To find out the answer, stop at the Maison de la Châtaigne in Mourjou. This eco-museum is dedicated to the chestnut tree: its history, its culture, its wood, its fruits. An informative and fun visit that the whole family will enjoy.


Don't miss the old chestnut tree labeled Remarkable Tree due to its 500 years of existence and its size (7.50 m in circumference). Complete the visit to the Maison de la Châtaigne with the Les Trésors du Haut-Célé hike (3.2 km). An easy and shaded path that will take you to discover the Haut-Célé gorges.

The winding roads of southern Cantal are ideal for motorcycle rides. The 4 picturesque circuits developed by the Châtaigneraie Tourist Office will take you to the remarkable sites of the region. They can also be done by bike or by car!


Motorcycle circuit departing from Montsalvy (104 km). On the border with Aveyron, Montsalvy is a medieval town labeled Petite Cité de Caractère®. The route offers beautiful panoramas of the Gouls valley, the Lot valley and Aubrac. It passes through the village of Vieillevie, whose points of interest are the castle and the leisure center on the Lot (swimming, water activities).


Motorcycle circuit departing from Marcolès (86 km). In the heart of the Châtaigneraie, Marcolès is a charming medieval town labeled Petite Cité de Caractère®.
The village has a fortified enclosure, craft shops and a gourmet restaurant. The circuit reveals beautiful views of the Rance valley.


Motorcycle circuit departing from Laroquebrou (128 km). The medieval town of Laroquebrou, labeled Petite Cité de Caractère®, overlooks the Cère. It has a 13th century bridge and a castle which dominates the village. This circuit allows you to explore the pretty roads between the Châtaigneraie reservoir lakes. At the edge of Lake Saint-Etienne-Cantalès, swimming at Plage de Rénac, at Lake Enchanet, swimming at Plage de la Gineste.


Motorcycle circuit departing from Maurs-la-Jolie (100 km). Close to the departments of Lot and Aveyron, Maurs-la-Jolie is a medieval town characterized by its half-timbered houses and red roofs. It is also nicknamed the Little Nice of Cantal. The route passes through the Lot valley, a valley with a mild climate where vines are cultivated.


Take advantage of your stay in Puycapel-Calvinet to discover Puy Mary (1,787 m). The emblematic pyramid, labeled Grand Site de France®, proudly dominates the Cantal volcano, the largest volcano in Europe. From Pas de Peyrol, take the path to reach the summit. The panorama of the Cantal mountains is breathtaking.


If you want information on hiking routes, local fauna and flora or even volcanism, stop at La Maison de Site du Pas de Peyrol. To complete your journey, a visit to Salers is essential.


Salers, classified among the Most Beautiful Villages in France, is at an altitude of 950 meters, in the Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Natural Park. Take the time to stroll through the streets, admire the mansions and houses with volcanic stone turrets. As for gastronomy, the excellent Auvergne AOP cheeses and the tasty Salers meat will delight your taste buds!
