In a small, quiet village, built with local stone, the old sheepfold has a pleasant enclosed garden shaded in summer by a lime tree and two chestnut trees. Away from busy sites, you will appreciate the tranquility and authenticity of the place. The southern exposure makes the cottage pleasant in all seasons. It occupies a completely independent wing of the owners' house. Full equipment makes it very comfortable. From the surroundings of Vendras, the view is panoramic over the Cévennes to the west, Lussan (classified as a "village of character" and "the most beautiful village in France"), Mont Ventoux and the Alps to the east. The nearby Mont Bouquet offers an incomparable landscape. Excursions are possible to the Ardèche gorges, Uzès, Pont du Gard, Nîmes, Avignon, the Cévennes, etc. Dogs must not bark repetitively, nor be left unsupervised at the lodge. Sheets and pillowcases are available in the room at no extra charge. Bathroom linen is not provided. Final cleaning is the responsibility of the holidaymakers. It can be offered as an option for €30.
