Le Refuge de la Colline’ welcomes you to a peaceful, green setting not far from the forest of Eu, with the sole aim of making you feel at home!
The house is surrounded by wooded grounds with a magnificent view over the valley. The house is on one level and is fully decorated, with 2 bedrooms, each with its own shower room. There is plenty of storage space, a dressing room and a washing machine.
A lovely living room opens onto a kitchen and two terraces, one of which is covered and equipped with a table, chairs, two deckchairs and two sun loungers. The location is quiet, unoverlooked and surrounded by nature, perfect for a pleasant stay.
From the house, you can easily :

cycle along the Verre et Mer cycle path in the heart of the Bresle valley
Discover the local glassmaking know-how and its museum 8 km away
Stroll through the gardens of the Château d'Eu, a royal town 8 km away
Discover Mers les Bains, with its colourful ‘Belle Epoque’ villas, water sports (coastal sailing, surfing or kayaking), the fishing port of Le Tréport and Europe's highest chalk cliffs, 15 km away.
The accommodation
An 83 m² single-storey timber-frame house with two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Our gîte has :
A living room opening onto a built-in, fully-equipped kitchen (dishwasher, large fridge, freezer, toaster, single and Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, blender, radio with Bluetooth speaker, raclette machine).
A cosy living room with a superb view over the valley, a large television (TV box with 180 channels), and free Wi-Fi connection throughout the accommodation (fibre).
One bedroom with a 160x200 cm bed and plenty of storage space, plus a shower room.
One bedroom with two 90x200 cm beds (which can be moved closer together), a study area and a shower room with WC.
A second separate toilet.
The house is much appreciated for its atmosphere, comfort and decoration. The living room is open-plan, and its many bay windows open onto a lush garden and a beautiful adjoining terrace facing south and south-west, allowing you to enjoy the remarkable view. Here you can enjoy breakfast and brunch in the rising sun, as well as all your daily meals. You can also enjoy dinner on the covered terrac.
The house is set in 1700 m² of grounds with large, beautiful trees, under which you can relax on the deckchairs for a siesta, a book or a moment of peace and quiet.
Shops are less than 800 metres away (bakery, butcher, supermarkets).
Access for travellers
From Longroy, discover its ponds, accessible by bike or on foot from the road, as well as the cycle path that will take you to the very pretty royal town of Eu. You can also explore the beaches of Mers-les-Bains, with its Belle Époque villas, and the fishing port of Le Tréport, with its many restaurants. The Bay of the Somme is around 25 km away, famous for its small fishing ports and the medieval town of Saint-Valery-sur-Somme.
