Between the Rhône river and the Saône river, the Beaujolais and Jura, I discovered a naturally rich region, offering varied pleasures. Fan of the great outdoors, traditions, culture and gastronomy will be met. At every turn of the way, the scenery is guaranteed . La Bresse countryside and half-timbered houses, ponds of the Dombes and traditional fishing nets, Bugey and scattered villages, spruce forests and vineyards, the Jura foothills and heights. At the height of winter, I discovered dogsled fabulous landscapes of the Jura mountains . Gustatory pleasures are not far behind. I could taste some specialties : the famous Bresse chicken with blue legs, cooked with cream and morels, parsley frogs (Licking fingers !) accompanied by a delicious wine Bugey, but also some cheeses unknown to my taste buds as the ramequin. Amateur or sports, family or couple, in town or in the countryside, Ain will seduce you.
Intensely kind! Immerse yourself in the joy of hiking, biking or horseback riding in the summer, skiing, snowshoeing or with teams of sled dogs during the winter.
